He's less than half an inch thick and about a foot long right now. He has the potential to grow to two to three inches thick and seven feet long.

He also kills his prey by asphyxiation and devours them whole. Right now his diet is innocent baby mice who are still hairless and blind.

It's a caterpillar and it will soon blossom into a beautiful butterfly.

I'm glad you're secure enough with yourself to choose a pet which will never show the least bit of affection for you and would gladly devour you if it were big enough. I also admire the obvious lack of superficiality it takes to choose a pet which is not in the least bit cute, as well as the unconditional love you can show to something completely useless.

Congrats. Let me know when you're cannonized.

I think snakes are cute, too.

It's just that when I see a guy posting about length and thickness, the first thing I think isn't herpetology.

Snakes are shit pets and if you keep one as a pet you're a fuckhead.

Did you know pet store employees are technically allowed to refuse selling mice to you if they think they're for feeding.

You know what are good pets? Rats. Seriously. They're like little dogs. Always happy to see you, love to play, like to ride on your shoulder. Ratties rock.

Amputation, a shrink ray, and a taffy puller are your best friends if you want one.

My cats show more affection than I can handle but they still want to devour me if they had the chance.
