Humpenstein was hit by a small truck about 15 minutes ago and was launched 20 feet in the air. From what I've heard so far, he was blown out of his shoes.

He's alert, moving whatever isn't probably broken, and saying he "feels pretty good about the whole experience."

I'm still trying to figure out what the fuck's going on, but I thought you all should know.

Just got off the phone with a witness... apparently the guy was drunk, ran a red light and almost plowed through a group of kids. Hump was the only one who got hit, and he was luched (allegedly) about 25 to 30 feet, not 20. My GF's little brother is now traumatized (he saw it happen). May have a concussion and broken legs. more details later.

Recovery seems plausible. I haven't heard any news from the hospital, but the parameds say he way doing okay on the ambulance. no word on anything else. thanks for your support.

I sincerely hope that, should I be hit by a car in close proximity to my sibling, my sibling decides to find me medical attention instead of immediately logging on to stripcreator to tell the story to a bunch of people he's never met.

Glad he's not dead, though. Or something.

I'm sure Lucky would have gotten his brother medical attention if he didn't live three hours away from the accident. I know, I know ambulances can be slow, but I think they're still faster than it would be for Lucky to drive there.

Yeah, Lucky is in college right now far away from his brother. I just hope this one accident doesn't change your opinion about college in general, dude. I know a few people who came to their freshman year of school, and within weeks had a family death/tragedy, and never looked at school the same way again (they basically looked at it as a burden that got in the way of their family). Right now, just focus on the fact that he's alright and that he's still with you. Justice will be served, trust me.

No head trauma, no internal bleeding, may have one or both broken legs. But he'll be able to make a full recovery, which is good. I was scared for a second when the voice over the phone was screaming "Oh my god he's not moving! Oh my god!"

In any case, I understand where you're coming from, not_Scyess. However, as Ivy said, I like too far away to able to do anything. I got the call while I was sleeping. Again, thanks for your support. I'm sure he'll appreciate it whenever he gets back from the hospital.

Well, about 15-16 years, (whenever he was born, I don't really keep track of those trivial things.) give or take a few months.

Update: Small puncture in a lung, but not serious. Minor concussion. Some pancreatic fluid buildup, may need to be operated on. However, he's still looking to make a full recovery.

I cringed when I heard "puctured lung". That sounds so horridly painful. Like, even more painful then sticking twelve live electric eels up your ass.

Not like I know what that feels like. And derive enjoyment out of it...

It just hurts when they reinflate it. Unless it's punctured by a broken rib, and in that case, the broken rib hurts.

Your brother is very lucky. Recently a young lady was hit by a driver on "The Strip" near the UT campus and died. This type of thing seems to happen about every five years around here.

Get well, Humpenstien.

My Grandmother once said, in any altercation, never take on anyone bigger than myself..I'm now passing these words of wisdom on to you..no more picking to "fight" speeding trucks! ;)

Great to see you're doing ok.
