You know how I know I'm not gay? I'm a man who is sexually aroused by women but not by other men.

I haven't seen the 40 Year-Old Virgin, but I did read on the Asia Wikipedia page that this idea was mentioned in the movie. It's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.

There's not really much of a trend here. Asia and UK are closely related bands, sharing a lead singer and founding member, and both having ties with Yes. I like these two because I like John Wetton's singing and really enjoy Progressive Rock. I like Berlin because I like talented, sexy female singers and good new wave music. Wikipedia has a list of groups named after places, and the only additional bands I'm at all into from that list are Hiroshima and Styx, but their output has been more inconsistent in quality.

In that respect, I'm very unamerican in my tastes. I hate Boston and Chicago. Kansas is fine but second-rate. "Dust in the Wind" is a good song, and I especially enjoy Sarah Brightman's cover of it. I'm not into Alabama, because when it comes to country, I'm only into female artists like Faith Hill or the Dixie Chicks. In general, my tastes in music are broader when it comes to female singers, the broads, and narrower when it comes to male singers.
