Second of all, your comic presents a humorous situation quite well, but it just assumes that that's good enough. Alas, you'll need a punchline. And the 1+1=3 sub-gag is pretty lame, actually. But correct those problems and you could have a good comic there.

I think...I'm gonna git me some more of these here pertaters to take home with me.

I also think...I could use me 7 or 8 more cans of that potted meat if you got any extry.
