I am new at making comics and was wanting some feedback. I have posted 1 comic a day so far so a total of 4. Most people I have talked to think they are pretty funny but I just wanted to get some more feedback.

i gave the last one an 'okay' rating, but that was more out of pity than anything else. they sucked pretty hard.

1 & 3: didn't get.

2 & 4: fairly amusing.

Keep at it, you have the potential to make better comics.

I second biped. You've got ability, just keep making comics and they'll get better.

  I agree you have potential.  Here are some rules of thumb to keep in mind, though.

1. Less is more:  the less dialog you need to accomplish your comic, the better.
2. Narration boxes are usually a bad idea:  If at all possible, have the character's dialog explain what's going on.  But watch out for the pitfall of having them talk too directly (i.e. "Okay, I'm going to walk over to the drinking fountain now...")
3. Don't try to do too much with the characters:  This is really a continuation of number 2.  There are a finine number of poses and expressions.  If you can't accomplish something with the characters you have, it's better to draw your own.  (I don't think you broke this rule, but you were going to.

I liked the first one, because it took me awhile to get it, if i got it. Then, the 4th one shows some continuity, we are starting to care, or not, about protagonist and his irs roommate. hilarity ensues.

i started making comics here after reading 'the artist's way' in jail while i was having my lastest nervous breakdown. the artist's way stresses that the way to make good art is to start making bad art, and get better over time, that the way to fail is to not start. stripcreator is bad art made easier. so yours are ok. the more you donate, the better you get. we know this because the donors' comics are better than average. we philosophers call this the does not follow. anyway, welcome.

I agree, but I don't know why.

The first one was very funny. Made me lol. Pay attention to the title, people, it makes the joke. Second one was okay. Third one didn't do anything for me. Fourth one was good, too.
