...I want to go out on Saturday night and its Thursday and I'm a little afraid that I'll be tempted to go out on Friday thus not having a full head of steam for Saturday. My solution usually involves going out Thursday night so that I have no interest going out on Friday, making Saturday a much more viable option. However, sometimes all three nights are involved and there is much hell to pay Sunday.

Set your PC to automatically call the police for help on Saturday at, say, 3:00 pm.  Then, Thursday night, handcuff yourself to the bed and throw the key out of reach.  Problem solved.

fuck the consequences. plenty of time to sleep when you're dead.
