I just tried messing around with the set creation tool for the first time. I get a big list of comics to choose from, each with an individual check box, to add to the group. The list, however, only seems to go back so far and I see no way of getting more to choose from.

Is this normal? I thought maybe I just didn't understand how it worked.

I've had an issue with that after my comic count got to a certain point, but I've gotten around it by creating the set with what I could find, then readin through my comics and adding the missing ones to the set with the tools on the comic pages.

I figured this out the hard way.

Create the set first using just one strip...

then go back and view each old comic and you will find an option to "add to set" under each strip....but if you do this, make sure you add them in the order you want them read. You can rearrange them later...but it's easier to just add them in the right order to begin with.

If you want to create a set, but all the strips you want are too old to show up on that comic selection page, you can actually create an empty set and add from there.

The "tools" HCRoyall was referring to are really just the "add to set" button you see at the bottom of each comic when you view it on its own page.  I think now you can actually add other people's comics to your sets, too.

...

You're a tool. Shut up. ::Cries::

My brain was trying to go into sleep mode and that was the only way I could get what I was trying to say into text.  But yeah.  What he said.

I got it all straightened out. Thanks for all the help.

Now I found what seems like a bug. Is there any sort of limit on the number of comics you can add to a set? Because one of my set seems to have stopped accepting comics. But I made a new set and it works fine.

I'm guessing that it's either by design or perhaps an oversight in not assigning a large enough integer in the database, since a set only happens to hold 99 comics.

I don't see why it should have to be an integer.

I believe there's a limit to the number of comics you can have in a set, probably due to something dcomposed did.
