Easter Egg Hunt! Here's the dilly-o: Sometime this afternoon around maybe 3ish, EST, Brad is gonna hide some Easter Eggs for us around the site. They're all hidden on individual comic pages. Your job is to find them.

There are 25, scattered among the almost 400,000 on the site. Luckily they're not randomly distributed. There is a method to the madness. Some should be pretty easy to find. Others will be harder. When you find one, just post the comic on this thread to score your find.

When all of them are found, the person wil the most will be given a SC donor account. If you're already a donor then you can bestow the donor account on someone you feel is worthy.

Once people start finding eggs, have a look at the comics they're posting and you'll probably get some clues as to where to look for others.

If people get stuck on some of the hard ones I might toss in a clue or two somewhere on down the road.

Good luck!

If we click on them, do we get to see a special commentary version by Adam West?

The eggs are online!

They'll be visible on the comic pages as well as inside sets. But not on random.php or in the forums (poor programming on my part).

Also if you find an egg and you hold your mouse cursor over it, it'll display why that comic was chosen.

I can verify that they are in fact on line. Pulling your chain he is not. The eggs are at the bottom of the page, so make sure you scroll down.

Here's what they look like:

Yup, I found those too. My interest is starting to wane as I realize just how many comics there are and how little I pay attention to the history of stripcreator. The downside of being a latecomer I guess.

Someone already nabbed #1. If you want to type in a comic number directly, do it in this form:

http://www.stripcreator.com/view.php?ID=1

As far as the image name, Brad thought someone would have some sort of super duper egg searching device that would allow unscrupulous bastards to cheat if they were all named the same. So they have really long randomly generated names.

Though I suppose using this form:

http:// www.stripcreator.com /comics/gabe_billings/11949

and just changing the number will show the egg if there is one, and not show the comic unless it's by the member in the URL. That might save you from scrolling down all the time to check for eggs.

No, but he did die so a large anthropomorphic talking rabbit can shit hard boiled eggs all over your lawn. That's why he's our savior.

Ok. Hint time. I count nine left.

-Of those, five are like '111111'. They really have nothing to do with Stripcreator at all. Two of those five a six-year old could probably help you with. The other three are a little more geeky.

-One is in the same zone as two other previously found eggs. The three make a nice little triumverate.

-One has something to do with an important day, but nothing to do with SC.

-The final two I would call important historical happenings at Stripcreator. Both of these will require some sleuthing through old forum posts to track down.

I wouldn't feel so bad. I checked 1357 and 2468 because I was afraid the further numbers were too big or something. Then I had pi on my list of things to check earlier yesterday but I got sidetracked by something else and forgot to.

I still want to know why I'm so obsessed with finding these.

So only two geeky ones left. If you thought of pi, one of them shouldn't be that much more of a stretch. The other geeky one is more grounded in the computer realm.

You got the first comic in a forum post. The other one regards the first appearance of a specific character type.
