Uh, which one is your band?

What time is your band going on?

Do the other bands suck?

Does your band suck?

Do said bands -- if they do not suck -- not suck enough to justify $7 and a drive to Soulard?

Are you buying STL strippers a drink for showing up?

I have a job. It causes me to work. It cuts into my drinking time. This makes me sad. I spend the time I am not working crying over lost drinking time.

The Upright Animals suck for not being named the Bipeds.

I can only hope that was a drunken reference to some band I've never heard of, like maybe The Shuters or something.

I was getting my drink on elsewhere. Then I had the BEST greasy diner food ever.

My night was pretty perfect without you.

I would love to come see your band and be the oldest person there unless you are playing at a rest home.

What time will you be in Wyoming?

If you do, the Parlor Bar and the Grounds are good places to search. Coal Creek occasionally does live music. Muddy Waters used to, but I think it closed down, which is really fine by me since the aged hippy BO aroma that came out of there was pretty intense.

Oh look, all nights I work. Like tonight. Anyone got any good work excuses? I don't know that I'd use them to go to either of these shows, but here's hoping, right?

Call in dead. Claim you have a gynecologist appointment. Or you could always beat your husband with a baseball bat, claim he fell down the stairs, and then call in to say you're at the hospital with him when you're really at one of the shows.

I don't know any gynecologists that have operating hours between 10pm and 6am.
