I dunno, these just don't do it for me. There's a setup, and a soft punchline... I should be at least cracking a grin.

They read a little like sunday strips, though.

Why does the "lead" character of the strip walk away at the end of both of these comics.

To answer your question AC I guess with my "concluding" visual I'm trying to make the punch line seem more "dry" - ie, leaves you pondering and then a smile, rather than a laugh out loud. Nobody here's got a fucking clue - just keep up the good start and don't stop making them like you've quit everything else in your life (yeah, I know how you are).
