I'm an A-list movie star who likes to mingle with the "little people" as "biped."

I guess I'll turn this confession into a farewell message. I probably won't be around here too much anymore (not that I'm around too much as it is). My main focus for a while now has been my writing, and I think the time has come to fully shift all my creative output to my work there. I've been making comics at this site for over four years, and during that time I've made great friends and was overjoyed to be a part of such a fine community. My work and experiences at SC no doubt played a huge part in my artistic development, and just my development as a person in general. There've been some rough times, and it's been great to know that there was a place I could always fall back on to read some great funnies and hopefully make a couple of my own. I'd like to thank everyone on here personally, but there's just too many of you.

I wish I could say it was because it was because I need to concentrate on my new duties as Ambassador to Sweden or something but, well, the simple truth is that I just can't be seen with you losers anymore. Your well-deserved rep as a bunch of basement-dwelling, nose-digging geekanerds just doesn't mesh with my own widespread reputation for studly awesomeness. My friends are starting to wonder why I'm slumming around with a bunch of Pointdexter-looking, clip-art comic making rejects. Here I am, awesome dude extraordinaire, watching the kids from the short bus play with finger-paints. It's ridiculous.

So au revoir, and here's hoping you all make it out of your parents' basements one day. I mean, assuming you people don't have some rare disease that makes you disintegrate at the touch of daylight.
