Hi. I searched my username in Yahoo! today and found that my comics were indexed in Yahoo!'s search listings. I realise that you can only delete comics if you donate, but there is really little point in me doing that if I plan to not actually use my account again.

Every listing for the name is from things I have registered to. I can remove some of them, such as SitePoint and Digital Spy, but not this one. That is really upsetting, because to do what I plan to do with my name, I want as little search listings to come up for it as possible.

For this reason, I really really need my account to be deleted. It is really important, but I am not willing to donate if I'm not going to use the site ever again after.

Is there anyway at all to delete my entire account without me having to donate? This thing I'm doing is costing me enough as it is for things I am sticking with.

Wow.  That was a huge amount of unnecessary explanation.  "Please delete my account," would've sufficed.

Only one person can delete accounts.  E-mail or PM Brad if you don't hear back from him in a week or so.

And best of luck in your upcoming bid for re-election, Madame Congresswoman.

You have two comics. Unless you advocated raping nuns in them, I fail to see how it would be a problem.

I just called up a cache of both of your fine comics (with profile!) using google. So it doesn't matter if the account is deleted now. The internet never forgets.

It's so exciting the way that Faiylen chooses to put an exclaimation mark at the end of Yahoo(!) as if Yahoo will sue him for not including it. You might as well add one of those trademark symbols as well, just for good measure.

It's also exciting how he never thought to just change his username for other purposes.

Besides. Its not that everyone was making fun of you as a person... they were making fun of you as a person who didn't really read the faq, and didn't think that maybe just emailing brad might have been the best choice in this matter.

Believe me, some of us have tried. I soaked it, shredded it, reformated it, and went and bought a new computer. UnFaiylenly, it comes back. Personally, I decided to find it charming.
