Just skimmed through Fuzzy's excellent in-joke FAQ and noticed a little gap in the info, regarding the third panel Asian girls.

Back in the mists of time when SC.com was new, we couldn't delete or edit our comics once they were made. Couple this with the fact that if a comic's title had been typed in already, hitting Enter would submit it.

The result of this was that sometimes people would give their comic a title and accidentally hit Enter before it was done. This resulted in many comics with the default Asian girls in the third panel.

It was so common that it turned into a running joke, with people making the strips deliberately with the default Asian girls as the punchline, usually meaning that a punchline was not delivered, a secret was not revealed, etc. I think there may have even been a comic about it...

Anyway, a bit of SC.com ancient history for the kids.

What's strange is a lot of our old default asian punchlines have become black-backgrounded, probably some glitch with all the character reshuffling. Check out this one for instance (it looks normal in the forums, but click on the comic title to look at it on its comic page):
