My first instinct was, like, 'He should just go by Robert'. But the 's' in Spoo makes any first name bad.

I knew Bob Spoo before he changed his name.  Back then, he was Bob Spenis.

Now, Captain Bonar and Sheriff Buck Jones will take the next step and talk with Lee County residents to drum up support for a July bond issue that will fund the $5.2 millionr renovation.

I don't have any "famous" or online examples, but I used to work with a Peter Wang.

Just remembered another one: a NASCAR driver named Dick Trickle. (I'm not sure if he still races; I'm not a NASCAR fan, but my uncle was.)

Remember that old game where the meaning can be changed by where you put the punctuation in the sentence "Woman without her man is nothing"?

My first thought was "Bob Spoo Head, Coach".

That reminds me of a scene from "Robin Hood: Men in Tights":

Prince John: Such an unusual name, "Latrine." How did your family come by it?
Latrine: We changed it in the 9th century.
Prince John: You mean you changed it TO "Latrine"?
Latrine: Yeah. Used to be "Shithouse."
Prince John: It's a good change. That's a good change!
