That's just wrong. I mean, plastic cups at a fancy Thanksgiving dinner? Come on, guys, you know better than that.

Those turkeys aren't "giving thanks", they're just getting revenge.  They're perverting the true meaning of Thanksgiving.

No, getting revenge is the true spirit of Thanksgiving. Just like the pilgrims got revenge on the Native Americans and killed them all because... They wanted their land. Yeah.

They got revenge on the British who threw them out of England because they were uber-religious twats by slaughtering a nation of people in the name of their God and then turning the anniversary of it all into a holiday where everyone tolerates each other for the duration of a meal and football game.

Goddammit, they wore buckles on their damn hats. Don't look for their reasoning to make sense.

Nope, all the parts of what anybody says that disagree with what I said are wrong.

Hell of a thing, disagreein' with me...you're wrong about everything I ever disagreed with, and everything I'm ever gonna disagree with.

The first person here to rhyme 'pecan' with "we ran" gets A Special Letter Bomb from me on Thanksgiving.

I had a big grilled ribeye steak, boiled potatoes, asparagus, garlic toast, and homemade cinammon-apple pie with ice cream on top.  It was fuckin' awesome.

We had the traditional spread (the yuppie version, not the one with green bean/mushroom soup caserole), plus I convinced my mom to make pumpkin bread pudding along with pumpkin pie.

I was in charge of wine and appetizers. One of the apps I made was fricken awesom-o: goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon and broiled (just like the gay pilgrims had).

We ate spaghetti.

We don't really follow directions very well.

It's because you're Jewish or something.

Thanksgivings with the Jewish side of the family traditionally include investment banking and cracker bread.

Turkee, pork loin, roasted brussel sprouts/beets/carrots, mashed potatoes, Memaw's cornbread stuffing, homemade cranberry relish, sweet potatoes with Kahlua and cream, chocolate pie, punkin pie (both made from crust up by mom who made them for a little small town cafe for years, OMG).

Next year, I'm going to talk them into deep frying the turkee. It was good this year, but they've never had deep fried before. Yum.

I'm going back next week to polish off the leftovers.
