The real winner, of course, is whatever company can get the most major news outfits devoting more air time to their "offensive" commercial, than to the results of the actual game.

If the Patriots suck so much, then why did they have a perfect season?

-And I'm praising them when I'm a Steelers fan.

But Good luck to both teams, because someone's gonna kill me if I pick just one.

And as a counterpoint to that, I'd like to wish bad luck to both teams.

i hope the Pats score more rebounds, but in the end i'd like the Giants to win on the difficulty of their floor routine.

I didn't think they had a floor routine in baseball.

There's no doubt the Pats are a great team but if they were in ANY other devison in EITHER the AFC or NFC, they'd have lost a few games.

Go Giants!

points scored, points allowed, special teams, none of that matters. all that does is who put in the larger bid to draft Jesus. unfortunately, we don't find that out till the postgame interviews

free agent deities are totally killing the league. :(

And in a related note, here's hoping for two unanswered Giants touchdowns in the first quarter, mattclarke.

Oh, that's different. That 7 sure looks like a 1 in the scan. Never mind.

I was actually thinking it was a great fundraiser for, like, an employee party fund.

It goes by the last numbers in each team's score at the end of each quarter, BigFrank.

Matt's square is at the intersection of Giants - 4/Pats - 0 at the end of the first and third quarter. So at the end of the third quarter, if the Giants have two converted touchdowns (14) and the Patriots have one converted touchdown and a field goal (10), then Matt wins $6000.

Usually what happens is people buy a square until the grid is filled up, and then the side numbers are generated at random.

Holy crap that was a great football game! I do believe that if the Packers had beaten the Giants the would have lost to the Patriots. They just would not have been able to put as much pressure on Brady. But next year the Pack'll be ready :)
