 a small flurry of cartoons, with inspiration of dubious origin.  could i make a living with my new found release of creative energy, or just keep the day job and amuse those who choose to peek when another random cartoon lands.

That one was pretty funny, but God is saying too much irrelevant stuff in the first panel.  I didn't get the punchline immediately, thinking, "Okay, I get it, but what does that have to do with creating dog-like animals or bringing rains?"  If you must have an excuse for God wanting a dog, keep it short.  "Jesus, bring me a dog," would work fine, though.
