I'm always down for this, but it would be nice to see some new blood. Also some new people to swap with.

If ancient blood is okay, I'm of course in.

Perhaps you could let bygones be gone by and allow those who had stiffed others in the past to participate again...

I'm down, though I STILL need to listen to Ivy's CD from last time (which I just found after I thought I lost it for good) and I never got Twi_Prime's CD but I think she's MIA.

Same here. I never got Twi's, I did listen to Ivy's.

I'm in for another round.

Twi_Prime is MIA?  I really like her song "Paper Planes."  (ba-dum-baaaa)

I'm in, even though I'm so swamped for time I haven't reviewed any of the CDs from last swap (sorry jes, gov & umfum).

So far, then, we have:

  1. Smurph
  2. Jes
  3. ZMann
  4. TheGov
  5. Scyess
  6. HCRoyall
  7. Umfumdisi
  8. Unknown Eric
  9. BigFrank
  10. LuckyGuess
I was thinking of a Swap Royale this time with one gigantor swap group since half of us have swapped with each other more times than attendees at a swinger's convention. We'll see if anyone else signs up to make some even sized smaller groups, but in the meantime, what does everyone think of that idea?

Sounds good to me as well. Wanted to do it at some point, anyway. Maybe then I'd get feedback from more than one person. :)

Okay, swappers. Looks like we're down for a Swap Royale with cheese. That means at the moment, you'll have to make 10 copies and send them out all over the world (US, England, Northern Ireland, Canada). If you're down, send me the following via e-mail to choadwarrior at gmail dot com:

  • SC user name
  • Real name
  • Mailing address

As soon as I've got all the data, I'll e-mail out the details to the group.

Think I could just bundle all of my songs into a .zip file and send them via e-mail? Or does that take out all the fun...

Reason I ask is that my address will change by the end of May... unless people can all get their CD's to me by then.

Check with the post office and see if you can set up mail forwarding. I'm not sure how it works where you are, but you should be able to have everything that's addressed to the old routed to the new.

That does take out all the fun. Nice going, Frank.

You'll have everyone's e-mail address when I blast out the snail mail addresses, so you can just send out an update to everyone when you know your new address in Memphis. You can also do what HCRoyall suggested.

I guess this is a good time/place to ask, how many tracks would be considered "too many"?

little_kitty
April 30, 2008 8:36 PM

There isn't really a "too many"...

However...

Keep in mind that you're going to have all of us reviewing your CD. That's a lot of reviews to read. So if you want to keep it to a safe 17 or 18, that's your choice.

But it won't Ja Rule.

At least not this time.

choadwarrior

The only limit on the number of tracks is how much will fit on a CD. Some people have been known to send more than one disc.

I think I'll do one disc this time. I actually have all my tracks short-listed now and will probably get them out in a couple weeks. Or, I might not.

ZMannZilla
April 30, 2008 11:06 PM

I got my songs picked out, just have to buy some blank disks.

I also thought it'd be nice to make some custom inserts for them, with the song titles and what not, maybe some artwork. Mostly to test out my new printer. My disks should be in the mail by next week.

I have my track listings ready to go, I just need to set aside some time to burn 'em.  2 CDs.  I'll give a non-spoilery spoiler.  The titles of the discs are:

"What the Fuck is this Shit?"

and

"I've Finally Been Sucked By Unknown Eric."
