I was going to do a Cowboy Physics joke and did some research to find out The Right Way (what the exact verbiage is, what background to use) and noticed that some of the older strips in the series use "background2" which isn't assigned to a set.

So, uh, how does one make use of that one if it can't be selectedfrom the dropdown?  Also noticed (cuz I'm nosy) there's a background3 but it doesn't seem as useful, blue on blue...

Those backgrounds have been removed from the list.  I don't know why.  That being said, I really wish we could bring them back... especially the black & white & grayscale one, which is great for comics using the characters that aren't in color.

Surely we can appeal to a higher court on this... Hey Brad!  Happy birthday, dude, by the way.  Hey, could we get that greyscale background back into circulation?  I mean, it's right there in the webspace already, just re-link it like you musta done at one time...

Yeah, I always liked that background, and never could understand why that one background was eliminated out of all the other blah backgrounds that weren't.

Maybe Brad could explain?  Hello, omniscient one... Shazam!

I put the whiteish one back in. It's in misc/greygradient.
