As I had posted in announcements about... uhhhhhhh... however many months ago June is, I'm getting married.

The wedding is October 17th of this year, and I'm extending an invitation to whomever wants to make the trek to Canada for it. Jes is going to be coming in, but I don't want him to be the lone internet man who doesn't know anyone else there.

I do have limitations on numbers, but I'll work things out as soon as I hear some feedback.

I heard Canada just got running water.

But still, congratulations kitty!

Not only do we have running water, we've got doors with handles! And/or knobs.

Canada is a very nice place. They keep the polar bears from coming into the U.S.

Also Toronto is supposed to be verra nice. I don't know where you live, kitty, but you should consider Toronto if you don't already live there.

Plus, congratulations. No, wait, I read some etiquette book that said you tell a bride Best Wishes. Sounds a bit sexist to me, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. So, best wishes!

Congratulations!

And if you go to Toronto, don't forget to visit Younge Street.

YOUNGE STREET!  JOBS!  JOBS FOR YOU AND ME!

"There's a rainbow in Toronto

Where the maritimers are bold

And they've always got a potful

But they never get a pot of gold.

And they're to it and at it, at it and to it

You gotta tune your attitude in

Cause if you don't get at it, to get to it

You won't get to it to get at it again."

I have yet to travel to Toronto... I'm smack in the middle of the country (so they say, although technically I think Manitoba is directly central....), about a solid 6 hour drive from any major city that anyone's heard about. A 6 hour prairie drive... which means it feels like its 12 hours because of the flatness.

Congrats Kitty!

I'm originally from Toronto and it IS verra nice. Lots to see and do.

Fun facts: Yonge Street (pronounced Young) is 1,178 miles (1,896 km) in length -- roughly the distance from San Diego, California, to Seattle, Washington...Toronto also is home to the CN Tower, which is now the 2nd tallest free standing phallic statement...errr... structure in the world.

Congratulations! I bet you have a sweet layer cake lined up. With a big-ass spoiler and hydraulics, and a bumpin stereo.

God I love cake.

Alas, I would, except that I don't think I'm Irish enough for there to be any sort of future. My alcohol tolerance isn't anywhere near what it used to be in university... I'd probably die of alcohol poisoning at the reception.

If I didn't post it before (I'm getting old, y'know) congrats!

Canada's cool, I've been to several areas but lately to Windsor at the Caesar's casino.  Got to see Kenny Rogers there last year for free.  It's lovely!  And fattening!
