Hello there,

I am writing this in the hopes of attracting nerds to my comics. My comics are written in the form of a librarian who needs to get in touch with his patrons.

I'll admit, they're not hilarious. But I'm hoping to get a positive comment or two.

Thank You,

Well, I found this one kind of funny:

What works for me (and I'm NOT one of the funniest people on earth) is using real life situations -- you know, "write what you know" -- and/or a lot of sarcasm, cynicism, and snark.

Are these comics from your real life situations?

Did somebody say nerds?

This is the best so far.  Quick and to the point.  Might be better if the questioner were an adult -- nobody really expects a child to explain why they like comics.

Would work better if the comic showed this happening, rather than showing people talking about it having happened.  Could move the "register a complaint" line to the end.
