Here's yet another CC based on that funny old random button. The idea has probably been done before but I've never let that stop me.
The rules are comparatively simple:
1. Hit the random button up to ten times and pick a comic.
2. Choose a panel from that comic.
3. Make a new comic which contains an exact duplication of that panel (characters, background, dialogue). Narration may be eliminated.
4. Post your comic along with the URL to the original.
I figure that this idea will either (a) be fun and stimulate creativity, or (b) act as a deterrent against anyone wanting to participate in this contest. I do not know which of these will occur, but I hope that it is the former instead of the latter.
Judging will take place (a) sometime next year, or (b) when it becomes apparent that nobody is going to enter. I hope that it is the former instead of the latter.
