Welcome to Comic Cup XV, a tournament where mortal strippers can rise up to become legends. Fifteen brave souls enter but only one can take home the trophy(*).

*Note: Winner must provide own trophy.

How does it work?

The Comic Cup is a knockout tournament. Each entrant will be drawn against someone else. You will be given a rule taken at random from a previous comic competition. Each of you will enter a single comic. Once both entries are in, all the other cup entrants will vote on which is best. The person with the most votes wins and proceeds to the next round.

What's the deadline for entering a comic?

Once your round is up, and the rule announced, you have FIVE days to post your comic. Anyone missing the deadline gets disqualified. 

How do I vote?

Just post in the thread saying who you thought was best. You can still vote after you've been eliminated. You can't vote on your own matchup.

1: Your comic must be in the form of an interview or debate between two characters, preferably with one trying to get information from the other, although disregard that if you've a funnier idea. 

2: There must be a slash (a '/' sign, not a guitarist) in the title, for example 'Frost/Butts', 'Rape/Tobor', 'Tardboy/Finkleman' etc.

Other than that do what you like. Props are allowed but your strip must contain one of the animals somewhere.

Comic Contest 100010 (4th June 2001, hosted by current Comic Cup champ gabe_billings, won by boorite)

1. Use an animal in your strip somewhere. Elephant, Toothgnip, etc. Whatever. Just once is enough, but more would be just ducky.
2. Stealing Obi's idea, your comic must contain a line from a Johnny Cash song. Obscure is fine, just mention the song it's from when you post your strip.
3. Use the word 'manboobs' in your strip at least once.

CC: 310 will concern the scourge that is MySpace. Man, woman, young, old, gay, not sure. Over Forty-Seven Million people... There's no denying that it's no longer a fad… even if you hate it. The addition of MyMusic has melded with iTunes for links to music videos, songs, and albums. Yes, if MySpace were a girl, she'd be pregnant from me riding her by now

I don't know what that last bit means. Make a comic about MySpace.
