Thank you for the win for CC665, I plan to share my winnings with my favorite charity:  Therapy Pets for Recovering Sexaholics.

We’ve finally come to CC666.   Comic Competition of The Beast (or The Best).

Did you know the number 666 is considered a lucky number in some cultures?  In fact, in China, 666 can mean “everything goes smoothly”.  So, I’d like CC666 to reflect the possibility of what means ill for one can mean cure for another.

Please present a three-panel original comic depicting a situation which is a bust for one character and a boom for another.  If you must include Satan, feel free but it’s not necessary.  Also, I'm a sucker for funny comics.

The trumpet blares and I’ll pass judgement in a week or so.

Thank you.

Since there's not too many submissions yet, I've created an example:

  1. Because it's unlucky for the dweeb and lucky for some redneck dude.  Or if you think the protagonist is bad news, just flip the lucky/unlucky.

  2. Because I just want to show this comic around.

Not many to choose from, but I will be doing so just the same.

Judgement on Tuesday, April 18th.

Get 'em in!

Not many to choose from, eh?  I've seen contests with only ONE entry (MINE) and I STILL didn't win.  Go figure, right?

Quantity speaks nothing of quality.

Though the submissions have been few, they've been good.

Thank you, everyone who participated.

Judgement:

Victory - Kaufman

Hailing a Cad had more twists than a jungle gym and more puns than Milton Jones' spiral notebook.

Take it away to CC 667
