This has been going on for a when I'm trying to make new comics. It takes forever to update in the screen when I choose a character and then put in text. When I get done and hit save, it just sits there, and eventually I get the dreaded "not responding" message.
So I lose the comic.

It took me an hour to finally get it to work for one comic this morning, and then for the rest of the day nada.

I'm assuming this has to do with either a timeout or refresh rate on my end. But need some insight on what I should tweak so this won't happen and I can innundate everyone with my comicy winter freshness! ;)

Thankies so much!

I don't know why this would be happening to you regularly, as it only happens to me when the site goes down temporarily. However, there is a great way to make sure you do not lose your comic...

If it fails to submit, you should end up with a huge URL showing on your browser, including all the dialogue and narrative and everything else in your strip. Select it all, copy it (Ctrl+C), and paste it (Ctrl+V) into Notepad or something similar. When SC.com appears to be back up again, paste the back into your browser and whack enter.

This has worked for me every time I have tried it.

I suggest you email Brad and ask him nicely for some suggestions.

I have absolutely no idea, sorry.
