I thought of this idea a few years ago. Young Jesus and Young Peter roaming the countryside, righting wrongs in a wacky sort of way. And after a couple of years, we'd spin off into Magdalene: Warrior Harlot.

(By the way, if anybody is offended, two things. One, I am, in fact, a Christian. And two, the Jesus I believe in finds this site incredibly funny.)

*chuckle* Works for me. The strips themselves are pretty good, but the basic idea is pure comedy gold. :)

...oh, and as a somewhat non-standard Christian myself, I do not presume to know the Humour of God. I reckon he's into slapstick, though...

I have a feeling you'd probably enjoy this guy's Jesus series, (starting with "It Begins"). They are in a similar vein, although yours are actually funnier.
