So i'm asking it here.

Anyways a certain account ("Zero_Entropy") appears to be deleted. By that i mean you cant post with it and you cant view the comics which have already been created.

Is the account deleted?

And if it is Why?

Also is there any way of getting the account re-activated (if it has been deleted)?

John

Very very odd...

Here is a thread you started over on the Read My Damn Comics forum. Have a look - the comic is there. However, try to view that comic outside the forum and it doesn't work.

The database choked on its own arse a week or two ago, and was down for several days. It could be that your account got slightly mangled during that time. I recommend you email Brad directly about it (brad@stripcreator.com) in case he is too busy to check this forum in the next few days, and ask nicely if he would kindly look into it.

When I'm back at my main computer tomorrow morning and not stuck using this tiny, tiny little laptop keyboard, I'll try to look into this. I haven't deleted any accounts in months and months so I'm assuming some database insanity is to blame.

Thanks.

I was worrying for a while that i had broken some rules or something.

Worrying mostly because i thought there were no rules (thus making my achievement quite spectacular ... breaking non-rules etc).

Speaking of which ...

Are there any rules?

Ugh. Take it from me: that should be your motto.

John:

I looked into it. The Zero_Entropy account was gone. There are still lots of comics with that name attached, so I'm assuming the actual account record was a casualty of the database problems last weekend. I made a new temporary account for the time being. You can e-mail me at brad@stripcreator.com and I'll give you the password and help you get things back in order if you'd like.

As for rules, I don't really like them and I don't like having to enforce them.
