Aye. Did you get "The Last Hero"? Rincewind AND Carrot. What a book!

Got it at Christmas. Felt like he was trying to cram too many characters in for such a short story.

That said, it was still funny, and the Drawings were superb.

Holy shit, Pratchett fans!!

I was beginning to think I was the only one!

I'm currently reading "Pyramids", I'm trying to go through them all chronologically.

Although I read the death books first, "Mort" and "Reaper Man" rule!

I absolutely loathe Pratchett books.

Say it ain't so Kramer!

Who'dya prefer instead?

Reaper Man is my fave Death story, and my favourite RIncewind is The Last Continent.

It has been far too long since I read a Discworld novel. Off the top of my head, I would list Wyrd Sisters, The Colour of Magic, and Moving Pictures as my favourites, though my favourite Pratchett moment would have to be either Rincewind's first conversation with a troll in The Light Fantastic (Rincewind says to a tree, "Did you just say something?" "Don't be silly," says a nearby rock, "Trees can't talk.") or the sheer genius of the fifty-foot blonde woman carrying a screaming ape up the side of a tall building in moving Pictures.

It's been far too long...

If you pressed me for my favourites I would say that the watch series is the funniest of the lot.

"Nobby got disqualified from the human race for shoving."

And other such quotable quotes...

And Kramer: is there anything you DO like?
