I started doing my taxes online at about 5:30 or so. It's after 9, and I'm still at it. So far of prime annoyance is the fact that I can't file electronically because Sarah worked in more than two localities. So I have to send the paperwork in via mail and that blows. On an up note, I realized that paying with the credit card instead of direct deposit was good 'cause we'll get airline miles. Yay. Unfortunately, the fucking credit card validation site isn't working.

The suckiest part of this is that we've got about $3400 to pay, which sucks the giantest of moose balls. I know some of this is from an IRA I rolled over into a Roth in '98, but I thought we were getting enough pulled out of our taxes. Apparently not.
