As I may have mentioned, I've been house hunting lately. I would like to share with you some of the facts I've learned in the process. Not just general stuff like "you have no right to a habitable dwelling unless you make a zillion jillion dollars a year and your realtor is on a first-name basis with at least three living Kennedys." If you live around DC, you already knew that. No, I mean nitty-gritty details, like what the jargon in the classified ads really means. I have here some examples from my own search.

"Backs to parkland."

"Maintenance-free exterior."

"Partially-finished basement."

"Huge yard."

"Roomy kitchen with open floorplan."

"Nearly new."

"Waterfront."

"Quiet neighborhood."

"Hurry, won't last long!"
