If you're new and make comics and you think your comics suck, keep it to yourself. Don't post them to the forums! This way you won't have to put up with people telling you they are shit, but you can still have fun making them.

I can cope with the people who don't realise their comics are not funny, since they are close enough to their own jokes to see humour in them, even if we can't. It's the ones who actually state that they suck when posting them that make me scratch my head...

I think it's a devious form of damage limitation.

If they tell us their comics are crap, then we can either agree with them or protest that they're actually good. If they tell us their comics are good, then we can either agree with them or laugh at them for not only being crap but for being unaware of how crap they are. The latter is obviously the result they most want to avoid.
