I hate to shatter your dreams but approximately 5% of the total population is gay.

Heterosexual deaths from AIDS has just overtaken homosexual deaths from AIDS.

Now what you want to do is put these 2 facts together.

Once you've done this you will see that the % of the Gay population dying from AIDS is FAR FAR FAR higher than the % of the heterosexual population dying from AIDS.

As such HIV was (/is) targetted at homosexuals.
