Not sure I like that. The whole thing where you have to scroll across to see the rest of the strip annoys me, as does the fact that only strips they approve get put up, and the approved strips are mostly painfully unfunny.

Five characters, five backgrounds, zero potential.

The interface is clunky and user-surly, and yeah, the idea of having everything moderated sucks.

Oh, they also claim to be the first. Unless they went online before January 2001, they aren't.

I found a comic there that is dated April 1999, so they are. Unless that rock one is even older.

Yup, I spoke too soon - the copyright on the front page was 2001, but the rest of the pages are (c) 2000 and 1999.

This leads to another question, though - why, after three years, is it still so limited?

Also, having just read the first three archived strips (note: "If it makes us laugh, we'll put it in the archive.") I cannot help but wonder in horror about just how bad the rejected strips must have been.

snigger, man that's crap, it's too challenging and unsimple, using shockwave and weird background. The speech is crap, etc my food is done.

I think an invasion of sorts is called for.
