Day 1: I'm feeling good about myself! Nay, I'm feeling GREAT! I'm finally doing something with my life! Fighting for something I believe in! Something that really matters!

Sure, you say, but it's just Hernandez. Who cares if we throw aside our social veils and drag Hernandez out to the front gutter and kick him a few hundred times? Well, besides the obvious answer of Hernandez, I'd add that if it's alright to kick the Hernandezes of the world today, what will it be tomorrow? Vasquezes? Riveras? And who then?

You see this isn't just about Hernandez. This is about all of us. If we allow someone to kick Hernandez today, it won't be long till YOU are dragged out into the street and asked to kick him as well!

I know your pain, ObiJo. My comics too were 'snubbed' at the CC135. And unlike you not one of them made the Heats!

But I'm okay with that, because I accept people may not always appreciate my humour. Besides, I'm a relative newcomer. My comics are meant to be snubbed, right?

But to snub Hernandez...such a crime, such a terrible, terrible violation of comic rights cannot go unavenged!

So I join you, ObiJo. I join you in your quest for Hernandez justice! I hereby donate a basket full of muffins to the cause. May they fill your comic-starved belly until such a time comes when Hernandez is given the title that belongs to him by right of comic-brilliance!

I plan on sending them out to newspapers nationwide, and with any luck we'll attract celebrity support ala Bob Dylan's advocacy of Reuben "Hurricane" Carter. 1048 FOREVER!!!!

I use him to mock the stereotypical image of the Computer Pervert. It's not my best series, and looking back the planning for some of the comics could have been better, but I like to think it has it's moments...

Thanks for being a good sport, benny. Truth is I decided to stop making comics for a little while and read people's instead. Since I wasn't going to write any comics anyway, Hernandez presented the perfect opportunity for babbling and silliness.

And since I won't be writing for a little while, it's appropriate to say

(kaufman - two a's, the 1st letter in the alphabet. k, the 11th letter. 11 has two 1's. f, the sixth letter. six is 1.5 times 4. 5 is a 1 plus a 4. m, the 13th letter. 1 + 3 = 4. n, the 14th letter. A 1 and a 4!!! Well, I'm off to check doors.
