Read my comics, would you? I'd like some knowledge of how funny they are to others. Just to make it clear, I understand that I could put the comics in my post here, I just don't want to. If that makes you not want to read them, that's fine by me.

It's been quite a while since I did these, and I was considering starting up again on them.

Kindly disregard the last few, they're aimed at people that I assume are no longer around.

Hmm...this quiet seems odd to me, especially having read your responses to other authors that came so quickly.

I can only infer from the lack of comment that either;

A) You have not yet read my comics
or
B) You have read my comics and found them distasteful, but have choosen to reamin silent due to a lack of any suggestions to improve them.

Both these situations are rather troubling to me. Not to say that I'd prefer to be ripped apart by wanton critiques, rather that I'd simply like to know where I stand.

Allow me to bump up your thread and see if that will encourage any responses.

Keep in mind that the RMDC forum tends to be fairly busy, so it is possible that your thread is left unread or gets lost in the shuffle.

I also went through some of your comics, but could not find a punchline in any of them. Also, I found a bit too much narration. Remember that a comic needs only to be funny; pictures and even words are unnecessary if they only bog down the joke.

If you felt that you had good punchlines and that I simply did not get them, please disregard the appropriate comment. I admit I am not very well-read, compared to the other regulars.

Well, I don't want to claim I have "good" punchlines...in fact, I don't really beleive that every comic needs a punchline.

Certainly the microcosm of plot development that is a three-panel comic does usually include a statement of premise, a climax and lastly a resolution/punchline; but I don't think that every successful literary creation has been structured so.

Some of my comics actually do have punchlines, but they're the ones I'm the least proud of, to be honest.

The "Xorro" series has always been one of my favorites.

Comics aren't images. Hit the "quote" link below this post to see the code for including comics.

And if you want to know what sort of comics make SC regulars laugh, one place to look is the Comic Competitions forum.
