I've put the new revised Stripcreator online. It's not much different on the outside, but it's vastly improved inside which will make it easier for me to add things. I haven't change anything in the forums yet other than to fix a few things that broke when I changed the main site.

I'll post a list of the little changes soon.

If you encounter any bugs, please post them in the Bug Reports and Suggestions forum. Thanks!

The box around my profile keeps my profile tight and orderly.

And obviously I benifit from you being able to add stuff more easily :)

Overall, the point of this little overhaul was to tidy up the insides and make it easier for me to add things in the future. Adding anything significant in the old site was kind of a nightmare due to two years of quick fixes and feature creep.

- Graphic categories are populated by PHP, making a smoother page load.

- Cosmetic changes to user pages. There is now a box.

- Most layout is done by CSS insanity now instead of table insanity.

- Make comic page and view comic pages all use the same comic rengering engine.

- Hitting enter in the make a comic form no longer saves the comic.

- The comic on the make comic page was actually 10 pixels or so shorter than the view ones. It's the same now. I'm a little disappointed that none of the
geekier SC users noticed that.

- Centralized banning.

- Italics, bold and underline HTML tags now work in comic dialog and narration. ()

- No more double line break problems in the profiles.

- Everything except for the make a comic page works in Opera 7 and Netscape 6, though IE is still the preferred browser.

- No more automatic logging in when you save a comic.

- Mouseovers on next and previous comic arrows.

- The make a comic form is smaller.

- Homepages without the http prefix are now fixed upon display.

I think there were more, but that's all I can remember for now.

I noticed, I just thought it was for the title.

No, really, does this work? Has anyone been able to make comics with these effects?

bold doesn't. This is the first comic on stripcreator with italics.

You can search the comics for ones using italics by typing in

Ah, right. I'd only tried bold. I'll use italics instead from now on.
