Little did the Chairman realize that Spider-man's mother was a direct descendant of one of the Earls of Kent. Unaware of the blue blood running through Spidey's veins, the fiend turned him into a lovely recliner, and sat back in it triumphantly. But he failed to get out of the chair-noble in time, and died six days later of radiation poisoning.

yep it was chairman alright, unlike those 27 other villans that turn people into chairs.... he was first you know...

To which Spiderman responded..

"You're trying to pull the duvet over my eyes, Chairman!"

Uh, I'm having a hard time working out if that's a comic that itsclark has photoshopped, or if that is what the speech bubbles originally said. I can't really understand what else could be happening in that comic though.

That's the original dialogue, alright. In case you're dying to know how this pulse-pounding adventure turns out, the kids swing into action with some irresistable pastry product (Twinkies or something) and the gluttonous Chairman is done in by his sweet tooth. I ganked the ad from somewhere, cropped it, and clarified the dialogue a little (the image had been through the mill compression-wise).

All this for a Hostess ad?
