As an option, how about permanent titles so anyone who wants to name their strip can do so without having to do it each time, with the added bonus of subtitles that can take the place of the current titling feature? And heck, what about the ability to link to graphics in the title area so that those who would like to could create full, graphical titles?

What about using your profile for that purpose? You could use the CENTER and BIG tags to achieve a more title-ish text effect. Or you could just have your username be the title of your strip. It already appears in comparatively large text on the pages where your comics are displayed.

I'm not so sure about the username idea, because then there's no proper name attached. :) The profile idea's not bad, but it's a little too detached and wouldn't look quite right.
