theniwrenator January 10, 2003 11:59 AM	i just wanted to know if you were going to do this CD swap again... I wanted to join in the first one, but I left town and had no computer for a while, not that anyone cares. Anyway, I would really want to participate if you do it once more...

umfumdisi October 10, 2003 9:49 PM	theniwrenator told me a bit about his problems with the prvious swap. since i still had the addresses of my group, i emailed them to him. he said he would send out discs. if he does, then i won't have a problem with him being in the next swap. choad and kramer are down for the next swap (if it's up to me).

I'm thinking... Mid-January/Early-Febuary to get the ball rolling...sound like a good plan? or does someone else want to run it instead?

Hey guys. Remember the 80s-early 90s? Vague recollections of events that happened way back then? Me too! You know what the best part of the 80s-early 90s was for me? Making mix tapes. That's right,I said it, tapes. Not CDs, no, no, this was a little more tedious and you couldn't just hit a button, you had to hit multiple buttons. Stop-start-stop-pause. Good times.

Not to thrust myself on to this swap thing (I've never actually done one for reasons that will be obvious in a sentence or two) and definitely don't want to step on our lovely little kitty's paws, but I don't have a CD burner and would like to play too. Would anyone be interested in doing a tape swap? If not this one (sounds like some of you already have your bit planned out) mayhaps the next one. I'm trying not to highjack the thread but I thought I'd put the suggestion out there.

You may now commence ridiculing me.

I did think it might be funny to have every song with me singing along in the background and getting the words wrong as I tend to do.

Ahhh, tapes.

I still to this day make tapes because I'm too poor to get a CD player for the car.

Well, at least I used to before my stereo blew up a month and a half ago. There was a flash of green light eminating from the back of it, and then...nothing. Very Spinal Tap-esque. Kinda cool actually, except for the "I have no stereo now! FUCK!" part.

If I manage to scrounge up enough money for a new one before the trading starts, I'd love to join in on this.
