I like your running theme, but the comics are hit-and-miss. There are a few good ones in there, though.

Would've been better if you had the first frame completely black, the second line with the text, and the third frame containing the punch line, OR; a conversation going with himself in both of the black frames. Empty frames after what's supposed to be the "punch line" doesn't do it for me. :P

I agree about the "Live Action Roleplaying" strip. I was debating on whether to leave it at two panels or use all three. I see now I should have gone with three. The hit-and-miss thing is probably true as well. Perhaps I should take the George Costanza approach and do one joke a day, then leave on a high note :).
