So I think we've sailed past the end date of this here Stripcreator CD swap. Is there anyone who hasn't received CDs from people in their group yet?

We'll, I'm assured of all but one... I haven't gotten any notice from Redcurrant as of yet...

I've only gotten one from my group.

Last I heard, though, Kajun's were going out this week. I haven't seen jools since he commented on itsclark's cd a few weeks back. I guess I could try to e-mail him or something and see if he's alive.

I'm sorry I missed the last mailing day. They are all finished, though, and going out on Friday. Long month, folks. Long month.

Thanks.

ArtemisStrong, I've looked up Hurm in the OED, and can't find it. Help! I hope you got your CD. Sorry, I'm one of those lurker-types who like reading the strips rather than creating them. Loved your comics, esp Spontaneous Stupidity

Bunnerabb, ditto except the first bits and last bits. So the middle bits, really.

DexX, being a bit stupid I managed to not mail yours out because I can't count beyond two. One..two..many. Ermm, sorry, it'll be in the post tomorrow.

Holee shit! You're a real, live person!

My "hurm" was an expression of my worry that you were some passer-through who just happened upon this site, joined the CD Swap, and then left, never to be heard from again. Seeing "Redcurrant has made no comics" only heightened this fear.

But, you ARE real AND have sent out the CD! Yay!

Haven't received it yet, but I'll let you know when I do. Looking forward to it.

Speaking of which...

LadyJ, did the CD finally arrive?

Brad, did my extra CD arrive at your place?

I got all three of the CDs. Thank you!

I enjoyed Fuzzyman's the most, and I was quite impressed with the presentation. I'll have to try harder to impress next time around.

Just for the record, I've received CDs from everyone in my group, had everyone tell me they've gotten mine, and wouldn't hesitate to do this again.

Thanks. By the way, "The Greatest Song in the World" is my new favorite song. I'm going to subject Marie to it as soon as she doesn't have a migraine.

Brad, has jools said anything to you? He posted in the General Discussion forum the two days before you said you'd e-mail people, disappeared, and posted there again today. I'm a little curious as to what's going on since I haven't seen him post here with any comments or explanations.

I apologize if he's already offered you some explanation, but right now it just seems as if he's avoiding the issue entirely. If this is the case, I'd rather see him post to say that he's just not going to send out CDs.

Maybe we can have more luck with the next swap, if there is one.

I only got around to emailing jools yesterday. No reply so far.

A speculative track list for Jools' CD:

"Why Haven't I Heard from You?" by Reba McEntire
"The Waiting" by Tom Petty
"You're Never Gonna Get It" by En Vogue
"Heartbreaker" by Led Zeppelin
"Let Down" by Radiohead
"Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel
"No CD for You, Fuckers" by Unknown

...

you get the idea.

Can I just say to Clark and Eponine (and Jools), that everything is a complete fuck here, I have CD's, if I could find a fucking FTP program for this shitty Mac I'd show you a photo of me with the CD's, seriously, I'm gonna include like naked pictures of myself as a "sorry" and some of my body hair, or something, I dunno.

Don't hate me. Your CD's will be there. Just think of them as relatives that you want to put off visiting.
