So if we were going to do another CD swap, should we let in anyone who wants to join or try to keep it among trusted-ish regulars? I'm not sure how many non-regulars really want to join, so perhaps it's not even an issue.

I'd still like to do regular audio (non-MP3) cds.

I'd like there to be five to a group instead of four.

If you have any thoughts or suggestions for the next round, here's the place to make them.

I'm inclined to say that anyone who still hasn't mailed their CDs for the current CD swap shouldn't be allowed to participate.

I'd hate to be elitist and disqualify someone just because we don't know them well. But I'd also hate for some people to get screwed by some random guy who joins and then disappears. Is there anything strangers could do to demonstrate their good intentions?

I'd like audio CDs and five to a group too. Even six would be okay.

And obviously, I want to participate.

Yeah, that goes without saying as far as I'm concerned. Jools seems to have been the only one who fully welched.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I mean, deadbeats is deadbeats unfortunately. Jools was probably considered a reasonably trustworthy regular at the time the SC CD swap started and he didn't work out. While Redcurrant was a completely unknown person and he seems to have worked out fine.

He dragged me through the foggy trees to a clearing. "Here!" he said. "Do you see?" And I saw. A small headstone, with the words glinting in the vague light of a November moon. "While Redcurrant was a completely unknown person...he seems to have worked out fine."

On a different note but probably in the same key (closely followed by a minor chord - how about Dm?) I'd love to have another go. Yes, we need more in a group. Five is good (though two legs bad). Artemis is the only one who sent me one, but it was dead good (review to appear in the appropriate thread).

On another different chord (now F) has anyone at your end of the pond heard that our government plagiarised their Iraq dossier from the work of a Californian student's thesis? Makes you proud..!

I don't have any thoughts or suggestions, but can somebody tell me how much the postage was to send the CDs last time?

Mine was FREE.

If I participate in the next one any sense of trying to choose musci people will enjoy goes out the window. I think I will send out a CD featuring whorehouse music and stuff I would classify as unlistenable. I am still curious as to what LadyJ and Gabe thought of my CD as their music tastes seem fairly conservative to me and I wonder what they made of a compilation consisting of Bhangra and Electroclash.

Until further notice, I'm out of the second one. I'll explain later.

I'd like to participate in this thing but 1) I have a fairly mundane collection of music (my tastes are wide but I rarely buy CDs) and 2) my CD burner kinda sucks. Maybe I'll see what I can come up with and do a test burn to see if it would be worth it for me to join in.

I ended up having an extra CD and sent it off to Brad rather than waste it. I think we should all do that, just becasue he organized this whole thing.

If only he didn't have that restraining order out on me, I'd HAND deliver one to brad.

I shipped mine yesterday, (see thread in this forum). They shipped late. If I'm out, I'm out. If I'm in, lemme know. Either is cool with me.

I'm not gonna do some big fandango in my own defense. I have just been preoccupied with medical and income issues and plain, old didn't get to it until now.

Sorry.

Rock on.

I can't say whether I can do it or not because nobody will tell me how much the postage was. I need to know how much I'm gonna spend before I agree to do it.

Sorry about that. Bunner sent his a few days ago, and mine are off into the wide world today. There's a little bonus in there that only SC.com regs would appreciate, too. Hopw it makes up for my lack of punctuality.

I'll be more prompt on #2, I promise. O:)

ok,
If bunner likes Kangaroo Jack, I'm in.
If bunner hates Kangaroo Jack, I won't be able to afford this.
