Yes! MaxPayne wrote to me that my comics suck. Would have been nice if he'd read some of them so I could have gotten a constructive criticism but ... oh well.

Still trying to get some feedback.

MaxPayne makes fun of everyone, but my comic strip war with him is over and I live in peace now.Try not to do more than one than one of the same comic. The jokes either get old fast or you make a really good one but the second and third dont have the same value. You'll get noticed better with short and sweet comics, not long a series. I notice alot of noobs got that problem.

Classic Noobness then. I started with a multi-part comic, but made a real effort to make each strip stand alone funny.

Office Politik started out as stand alone, but it's turning into something more.

I disagree with Ewwwww on the long-running series thing. It seems to me that, especially when you read it in one sitting, a series is funnier than a couple of split comics, because you bombard the reader with a succession of jokes.

Of course, always make comics that can stand alone, even if the punchline isn't horribly great. A series where the joke doesn't come until five strips later probably is a bad thing.

Must write this down ... punchline required.

GOT IT! Off to do the 3 worst jokes ever. Stolen but still worthwhile.
