I just found the page through GameFAQs this afternoon and became quite the comic creator! I've been writing a comic story, and I'd just like to get some reviews from some people.

That aside, I read through most of your series. I think you (as a self-proclaimed skilled artist) are trying to do more with the characters than the stock art will allow. If you could draw that strip, it would be a good beginning, because you could, well... make it look interesting while the plot builds. But as it is, you can't, so it's just boring. Get to the jokes faster and make them funnier to help make up for the fact that you can't do much with it visually.

Post your series when you've got a few more, too.

Anyway, I apologize about the opening. I was testing the waters with the comic, and to be honest it's become quite fun and I feel bad putting down the site. I'm making the story up on the spot, so don't expect ground-breaking material.

I'm glad you guys criticized the comic, though. The outside opinions are helpful. I just started creating these types of comics today, so hopefully I'll improve.

As for the comic itself, I'm just having fun. The characters are simply the personas I see them as, and the story is simple improv. It's not great at all, just me playing with a new toy.

I didn't think it was THAT bad. Too much narration, but it shows promise. Keep practising.

I'd post a review, but I suck at this myself... One of the main reasons I never had any respect for Roger Ebert...

He fucking Wrote "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" and wants us to take his critiques of motion pictures seriously???
