dcom reminded me of something with his "is DragonXero broken" thread. It seems like some of us don't display the number of votes we've recieved for some reason, while others of us do.

I changed the way the vote counts work, they're not calculated on the fly anymore but instead saved to your user record each time a vote is made. I either have to go through and update everyone's records with their vote numbers, or just wait until more votes are logged and the user records are updated.

That's why some people's vote counts are displayed and others aren't, they've just had votes placed in the past 12 hours or so since I put the system online.

Gosh, it was just yesterday that I was whining that no one had bothered to rate me yet. I guess they had even while I was moaning about it. And by last count, 1 voter says I suck! Hurray!

Oh well, back to the drawing board...or at least convince them I don't suck quite so hard.

Thanks not_Scyess, I'll post some of my better comics (at least I THINK they are) in there soon. I'm not sure what I posted to motivate someone to rate me, but at least it should be based on what I think are the better ones.

I'm keeping a sense of humor about this whole thing, since part of my whole schtick is being a bit of a loser, and besides, my poor rating here is pretty minor stuff compared to everything else I have going on. It's just a little discouraging because you and evil_d are the only people who have ever really given me any feedback when I have posted comic threads in the past and both of you were encouraging if not incredibly enthusiastic (don't get me wrong, I am grateful to both of you for your thoughts). If somebody thinks I suck, that's their right - I'd just like to know why so I can maybe try to get better.
