I recently managed to find the most ego-boosting thing currently in existence... for comic stippers, anyway.

I was able to get someone I know RL to read my comics... and he laughed like hell at about 80% of my strips. I suggest everyone try this.

No, I don't think it makes a difference that my reader was 11, dammit.

Are you suggesting I read you comics and laugh and 80% of them, or are you suggesting that I let an 11 year old read my comcis.

I know what you mean. It's not often that you get any feed back on your own comics. Friends and family like them but then they know my sense of humor. It would be cool if a comment box was implimented with the voting so people could tell the authors what they think. Even someone telling you its dogshit could be constructive. Just get a brown paper bag, put the dogshit of a comic in it, and light it on a neighbors poorch....

NastyPope I just want you to know that your entry in comic contest 42 was brillant. Your entry in comic contest 43 however is dogshit.

That's an interesting comment from the most consistently unfunny and idiotic regular on these boards. Crabby, you have a lot to learn about the difference between being laughed with, and being laughed at. You fall into the latter category.

NastyPope's sense of humour is hit-and-miss for me - our senses of humour overlap, but are not the same. I am sure my own strips often leave him cold some or all of the time as well. However, I do laugh at quite a lot of his strips. Also, and more importantly, his appearance on these message boards does not cause my hands to clench into involuntary strangulation motions. The same cannot be said for you, unfortunately. Please, do the regulars of Low Pass a favour - hop on a scooter and play chicken with a Greyhound bus. The universe will thank you... well, thank the bus driver, anyway.

He's either a total fuckwit, or an actor of the same calibre as Olivier. Great acting talents are extremely rare, but almost any fuckwit can slip an AOL disc into a CD-ROM drive - autorun.inf does the rest.

It may be an act, but I doubt it.

Thank you very much for reassuring me of my crappyness.
I never said my strips were the funny I was merely telling him what I thought of his, or at least the ones I've seen recently. I apologize for my comics not amusing any of the CSC regulars. In the future I will try harder.
