Like normal candy, except this will rot your brain as opposed to your teeth and is rarely handed out by well-meaning elderly women...

First one - pretty funny.

Next two - nothing special.

Last one - predictable yank humour.

I will have you know, good sir, that I am no citizen of the United States of America (not that that's a bad thing). I am English, born and bred! As such, I now feel incredibly embarrassed at having made an issue of that point...

Well. I never said that you were - though in that case it's pretty puzzling why you'd use the word 'candy' :/ At any rate, whether or not you are an honourary yank or not remains to be seen, but the evidence so far does not bode well.

I thought all the strips were pretty good.

Yay.

The last one did sound like a rework of a joke you would tell in a bar but all in all they were very funny, the first was my favourite.

Good work fella.

I'm with jes - the first one was definitely my favourite. You've got potential, keep at it.

The first one is an old joke.

At least it is in the US.

YANK HUMOUR!!!! Ha-ha, charade you are.

You realise, 'yank' in that case doesn't strictly mean 'from within the borders of the United States', right?

Thank you all for the kind comments.

You know, thinking about it now, I guess it is pretty puzzling! I suppose 'Irregular Sugary Treats' didn't have the same ring. Oh well, there's something nice about the word candy in any case!

I agree, all of them goody goodness. However, I must stick up for the second strip. It moves along all well and good, and then the punchline comes, and you're left momentarily thinking "what?", and then the meaning comes crashing in, and it's just great. Good stuff.

I suspect you meant "where"... but even then, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh come on; correcting typos? Anyway, whether you understand or not is not the point.

*Sigh* OK. The point is to make me feel superior. Which you've aided in. I'm not particularly bothered what some random internet-user thinks - although, eventually, explaining things to people gets more tedious than it is ego-boosting.
