We were out in Ballyhooly last night, drinking solid until 2a.m. We got a cab back into town. The aul’ cabs are great, though.
Flowers, yellow flowers in the furze on the mountain, you could see them at dusk. The sky was purple and gold. That’s what we saw from the car coming into Ballyhooly.
The long evenings are great though, though they’re drawing in a bit now. The DJ played Drinking in LA, and we talked about the All Ireland semis all night.
