Game Night

True events from my D&D sessions and other tabletop roleplaying games. "Players expect the game world to make sense. They want verisimilitude. They want carefully planned characters with believable motivations. They want arduous attention to detail. Unless you're talking about loot, in which case they think nothing of getting a $1,000 Longsword in exchange for rescuing a $5 pig." -Chainmail Bikini

But aren't the vampires pretending to be normal people? Then we'd be pretending to be angsty goth kids pretending to be vampires pretending to be normal people.
And then if they started playing D&D, we'd be pretending to be angsty goth kids pretending to be vampires pretending to be normal people pretending to be wizards and paladins.
An Opera Cape?
And I would max out my skill in reading minds, so I would only feed on the evil-doer, just like the Vampire Lestat.
