Really. I mean, since it's Krud's first strip, it's destined to more or less suck anyway, right?
Random Viewer: "Not necessarily. There have been people whose first strip wasn't so bad..."
Sure, whatever. Listen, this is just the obligatory 'newbie strip', okay? Nobody expects this one to be good.
Yeah, like, cut us some slack, Random Viewer.
Random Viewer: "Well, you could have at least TRIED to do something unique."
What, isn't our self-referential dialogue enough for you? Sheesh.
Besides, we DID switch places in the frame. That's gotta count for something.

Remember: "Brevity is your friend."
What do you mean?
What I mean is, try to keep your dialogue as short as possible while still retaining the humor. You might think rambling is funny, but in fact brevity and levity go hand in hand. For example...
Two hours later...
...is that clear?
Painfully so.

I used to teach a class at the hospital called "Last Minute Lamaze".
I had to quit when they wanted to give me a drug test.
Because my pupils were always dilated.
